I feel cool being able to say I actually had, and put to good use, a metal lunchbox with thermos. But things changed and metal made way for plastic and then insulated lunch sacks. But those new lunch sacks and plastic lunchboxes didn’t have He-Man or Thundercats on them. I was more interested in being cool and representing my favorite Saturday morning cartoon than having my lunch be the right temperature. I didn’t even care if the old thermos leaked or not. Well now we can all relive those memories and have our kids create new ones with the resurgence of these metal lunchboxes.

On eBay you can find lunchboxes with the original designs like retro outer space, 80s cartoons, original trilogy Star Wars, Muppets, Happy Days, Buck Rogers, Gremlins, Lone Ranger, and much more. Just search for vintage metal lunchboxes on eBay.
