The 50’s were a turning point in so many ways, not least of which was the birth of mid century modern design. Lines became simple and sleek, providing a distinct contrast to the excess that was poplar in post-war times. Thankfully, there are designers today who still create stunning minimalist designs that hearken to that 1950’s modern look.
